Tui Na (meaning to push, pull and grasp) is Chinese massage manipulates the muscles and joints. It opens up the energy channels allowing the energy to flow smoothly.
Tui Na/Chinese Massage relieves pain due to stress, tension or injury. It is also used to improve overall health, fitness and well-being.
The Tui Na practitioner uses the hands to press on key points on the surface of the body to stimulate the body’s own natural healing process.

Sometimes Tuina practitioners will use cupping - a therapy that uses vacuum suction that stimulates circulation in an area. The Tuina practitioner may also use heat (known as Moxibustion - a small amount of herbal substance is burned, to heat at the particular area of the skin).
